    Important Initiatives for the Development of Gaushalas and the Conservation of Cattle

    Substantial Electricity Bill Subsidy for Gaushalas: –

    On the HGSA initiative, the electricity bill for Gaushalas registered with the state government has been reduced to just ₹2 per unit. This decision is an important step towards reducing the financial burden on Gaushalas and making them self-reliant. This will help Gaushalas better utilize their resources.

    Special Subsidy in Stamp Duty

    Stamp duty has been reduced to just 1% to assist Gaushalas in acquiring land. This decision will encourage the expansion of Gaushalas and the establishment of new Gaushalas, enabling the conservation of more Gauvansh.

    Financial Assistance for Fodder Purchase

    The Commission is providing financial assistance to cow shelters for the purchase of fodder. This assistance is playing a vital role in ensuring the nutrition and health of cattle. This assistance is proving extremely useful, especially during the summer and dry seasons when there is a shortage of green fodder.

    Special Grant for Rehabilitation of Stray Cattle

    Special grants have been provided to cow shelters for the rehabilitation of stray cattle. This initiative has not only ensured the safety of cattle but also helped reduce road accidents and prevent damage to farmers’ crops.

    Establishment of a Promote PROM Plant at Dobhi Gaushalas

    The HGSA has provided assistance in establishing a Promote PROM Plant (Phosphorus Rich Organic Manure) at Dobhi Gaushalas. This plant is producing phosphorus-rich organic manure using cow dung, helping the cow shelters become self-reliant. This initiative is important for both the economic development of Gaushalas and environmental protection.
